Consultation on digital
Have a plan of action, use resources well.
As you start to think about how your church currently uses digital media and how it could be more effective, you will quickly see that there are a huge number of choices to make and potential channels that could be employed. Unless you’ve worked in this arena before, then you’d be forgiven for feeling overwhelmed.
Fortunately, helping churches to establish sustainable, budget-friendly and effective strategies for using digital media is something Digichurch loves to do. Why? Because it helps churches to grow!
No matter where you’re at with digital media, Digichurch can help your team talk through benefits and good practice when it comes to the likes of livestreaming, recording services, utilising Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/TikTok, YouTube, graphics, video content, and so much more. We’ll also advise you on what sort of technology you might require, put together AV specs for new setups and help you with purchasing and suppliers in order to find the best deals and ongoing customer support.
In short, we can help to devise a strategy for digital media that compliments your existing mission and will help to drive your current vision forward.
Training for volunteers
Save money, equip potential.
We know that for most churches, volunteers are the bread and butter of tech teams. Quite often they will be enthusiastic and full of potential, but lack the resources to fulfil it. When much of the equipment and hardware used in church AV is so expensive, it is essential that your volunteers are properly trained so they are not at risk of causing costly damage to hardware, themselves, or your congregation. Remember that in the industry, sound engineers, camera operators, broadcast engineers, etc have years of experience and qualifications to enable them to do what they do. Don’t expect your tech team to learn the same from YouTube! With this in mind, we always highly reccommend hiring professionals for initial video and sound installations, and for training your volunteers in ongoing use of it.
Digichurch is happy to offer such training, webinars and workshops for tech teams in churches, in daytime or evening sessions, and based around whatever equipment and setups YOUR church has. We think this is by far the best way to learn as it allows easy application to your specific context. Our staff are degree-qualified have plenty of professional experience in AV, so rest assured you’re in safe hands. Have a look at some of the workshops we offer below or get in touch to discuss them more.
